About

Comfort. Understanding. New Beginnings.

What We Do

What is psychotherapy?  At times we need a sounding board, someone to bounce ideas off of.  There are times in our lives when we are struggling with depression, anxiety, difficulty transitioning to a new environment, difficulty adjusting to the aging process or needing to communicate better with your family.  Studies have shown that talk therapy is a vital component to treating mental health issues.  We provide in-home psychotherapy because we feel that people are most comfortable in their own homes.  In addition, meeting you in your home will allow us to get to know the whole person and reduce barriers to treatment, such as transportation, finances, disabilities, and stigma.  We are contracted to bill Medicare Part B and are in-network with Humana and United Healthcare.  We are able to provide ongoing psychotherapy/counseling services as well as one-time family consultations if you are finding it difficult to communicate your needs and wishes to family and friends.

Clinical director

Carlye Levine, LCSW-S

Following graduate school, I began my career supporting families during end of life in Hospice and Palliative Care.  I focused on grief and loss for seven years.  I often heard from families, "if only you knew Mom/Dad when...." and decided that I wanted to work with older adults to help them with the process of aging.  I began working as a Geriatric Care Manager, and earned my clinical license while focusing on providing psychotherapy to older adults.  I was fascinated by the stories of simpler times and the amazing adventures that people had.  I have always focused on aging in place and recognize that the transition into retirement is not always a smooth one.  It is my goal to provide support during difficult transitions and to shift the focus on maintaining a vibrant and vital life, no matter what age.
